New Park Hill UMC Arts ClubInterested in the Arts? We are trying to start a new group at Park Hill that will attend concerts, plays, theatres, and museums throughout the year. Listed is a preliminary calendar, but anyone interested can join in a discussion of additional or alternative dates, venues or events. Financial assistance may be available for those unable to afford the full price of a ticket. Please contact Chris Werner, email@example.com or 303-725-6783, as soon as possible if you are interested in attending one or more of the following.
Cafe ConnectionCafe Connection is a topical class, usually on a social justice topic on the 2nd Sunday of each month. We meet in the Balcony Parlor between services at 10:00am.
Grocery CardsDon’t Forget: Refill your grocery cards. If you don’t have a King Soopers or Safeway grocery gift card, please stop by our table in the coffee bar between services. Cards can be reloaded easily at the grocery store cash register and guest services. Remember, the church receives 5% of each dollar you reload on your cards. Use your cards for groceries, gasoline, postage stamps and greeting cards and support your church at the same time. ~ FYI ~ last year the church received $7000 from your use of these cards! Let’s keep it going!
Mission Activities PHUMC is hosting women from the Women’s Homelessness Initiative on Wednesday evenings in January, March, May, July, September and November, 2017. If you would like to cook a meal for 25 women, bring supplies, or more, please contact Ruth Ann Russell at 303-726-6632, firstname.lastname@example.org. This is a remarkable ministry.
Are You Ready? – Be The Blessing! Our Tender Loving Care (TLC) ministry would be blessed to have a man join our ministry. If you are interested in being a friendly visitor, and bringing meaningful human interaction to provide companionship, please call the church office at 303-322-1867 and you will be connected with specific details for this faith in action ministry. There are many more people who are quiet disciples in our congregation who minister without recognition, and we thank you all for your faith in action. You are all blessed to be a blessing to others. Thank you for your prayerful consideration.
