Children's Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry begins with the nursery and follows our children through 5th grade. Our goal is to love, nurture and teach your children about Jesus. We achieve this goal through Children’s Church, Sunday School, Choir, and other seasonal activities. We would love for you and your child to be a part of this growing ministry at Park Hill UMC!

Sundays:

During the Summer months, worship Judy O or one of her faithful helpers provides a Children’s Moment that is designed especially for your child during Worship.

After the Children’s Moment we have Children’s Sunday School in Room 205. Children’s Sunday School is a mini- “big” church service with music, prayer and a lesson for 3 year olds & older. 

• We have wonderful United Methodist curriculum.
• Our 2 and 3 year old's curriculum is designed for those children who are just entering Sunday School. Sunday School is provided at 10:00 AM between services.
• Ages 4 years through 5th grade enjoy "Live B.I.G. (Belief in God.)
• 2 and 3-year old class - Room 213
• 4 years - Kindergarten class - Room 212
• 1st and 2nd grade class - Room 211
• 3rd - 5th grade class - Room 216

Thursdays:

Children’s Choir is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the church and to God. We meet every Thursday, September - May. We meet from 6:30pm-8:30pm in Rooms 205 & the Balcony Parlor. We sing, play bells and learn drama. All of this prepares us for two Children’s Cantatas - one at Christmas & one after Easter. Please join us!
