Holy Communion

In the United Methodist Church, we have an open communion table. "Christ our Lord invited to his table all who love him, earnestly repent of their sin and seek to live with one another." You are welcome to our communion table whether you are a member of Park Hill United Methodist Church or not, whether you are a Methodist or not. You are welcome.

We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the First Sunday of each month in both of our Sunday Services.

Holy Baptism

"Brothers and Sisters in Christ: Through the Sacrament of Baptism we are initiated into Christ's Holy Church. We are incorporated into God's mighty acts of salvation and given new birth through water and the Spirit. All this is God's gift, offered to us without price."

We baptize infants, children and adults. Scripture tells us in Acts 16:13-15 "On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there. One of those listening was a woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth from the City of Thyatira, who was a worshipper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul's message. When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. "If you consider me a believer in the Lord," she said, "come and stay at my house." And she pursuated us."

We prefer for you to be a member of Park Hill United Methodist Church so that we can help raise your children in the faith. You may call the church office for Baptism information whether you are a member or not. We look forward to having you here.
