"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."  Matthew 25:35-36

The goal of the Transformation Project:  Prison Ministry is to bring transformation in the hearts and lives of the incarcerated through the love and power of Christ.  One of the principle ministries within this project is the Prison Ministry Book Project, supplying books to jails, prisons, halfway houses, community corrections, and to homeless shelters which house former prisoners.  Not only are they being distributed in Colorado, but in other states as well.  The ultimate goal is to encourage talented inmates to use their gifts to the maximum to serve the Lord through their writing and art work to give spiritual support to others.  Three books have been published, two were written by inmates:  "Maximum Saints Never Hide in the Dark" and "Maximum Saints Make no Little Plans."  A third book, "Journey with Jesus" was written by Yong Hui McDonald.  To offer financial support for this book ministry  online:  Give On-Line.  To purchase a book or to offer other help or ideas about Prison Ministry  email:  ymcdonald@co.adams.co.us.
