Worship Ministries

Park Hill UMC's worship services have had a rich and varied tradition. As some say, we look like the kingdom each and every Sunday! Currently, we have two worship services: A Contemporary Gospel Service led by our spirit-filled Praise and Worship Teams that features the music of the Gospel Choir, and a Traditional Service that features the music of the Chancel Choir. However, worship is more than just music. Along with our staff that preaches, teaches and leads our services, we have an excellent team of Ushers, Greeters and Audio Visual members who greet, help, support and give life to our worship. We would love for you to be involved in any aspect of our Worship Ministries. Come share your God-given talent, praise the Lord with glorious music, and join with us in taking our legacy into the future.

Ushers (Director: Ike Lanier)

Ushers greet people entering the service, seat attenders, collect the offering, count people in service, distribute bulletins and service programs, and much more.

Greeters (Director: Betty Walters)

Greegers are the first official representatives that anybody sees when they arrive and as such, play an important role in making the people feel welcome in our church.

Audio/Visual Ministry (Audio: Dave Penney, Video: Larry Alexander)

The AV Ministry brings sound and video to each service. This ministry sets up the sound equipment, crafts the service for the screens and runs the sound board and computer on Sundays.
