Tell us about your family.

My partner and I have a little boy named Miller who is our pride and joy!!! My parents live in Colorado and Florida, my sister and her family are in Maryland.

When did you have a call to ministry?

1997. My call came through a song called “The Potter’s Hand.” “I’m captured by Your holy calling, set me apart I know You’re drawing me to Yourself, lead me Lord I pray.” It’s a great song!

Where have you served in ministry?

I have served in United Methodist and non-denominational churches in Florida, Texas, North Carolina and Colorado since 1995.

What is your favorite part of your current position?

I am the Director of Programming and Membership which means I am the staff leader with Missions, Adult Education, Evangelism and Membership so there is a lot to do!!! I love it all, but the best part is helping new folks get involved in ministry and really sink their teeth in!

What is your favorite bible verse and why?

Joshua 1:9! God hasn’t promised us a stress free life, but God has called us to be “strong and courageous” and not to be “dismayed for the Lord Your God is with you wherever you go!” Rock on!!!

What is your favorite quality of God?

Right now, it’s Jesus’ radical nature! Jesus went against the stream as he loved those that others wouldn’t love and gave of himself the way none of us could. Jesus wasn’t the tame, gentle go-with-the-flow guy that many think he was – read the Scripture and you’ll be shocked!
