Senior High Youth and Sponsors in San Francisco for 2011 Mission Trip
 
Park Hill's United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) is an energetic group of young people, ages 11-18. We are divided into two groups: Mid-Highs and Senior Highs, with a common goal of fellowship - having fun in a Christian environment! UMYF is a group of young people who are committed to our Church. We are a diverse, creative and involved group. Our UMYF is a group of leaders in our Church and the larger United Methodist Church. It is a group of young people...and some devoted adults, who continually nourish our Spiritual Growth! We'd love for you to join us. Join us on Facebook (PHUMC YMWF and Alumni).

Worship and Sunday Activities
 
We have two Sunday School classes that meet at 10:00 AM (September through May only):
  • Mid-High - Room 214
  • Senior High - Room 209
 YOUTH FELLOWSHIP
Youth Fellowship (mid-high and high school) meets almost every Sunday in the Youth Lounge in the basement. We have a snack lunch from 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM and then our program is from 1-2:00 PM. Some activities are at different times and on different days. You will receive a monthly calendar with all our activities. Click here for an updated Youth Activities list and our Youth page.
 
Mission and Community Activities
 
VOA Senior Resource Center Mission Meal
 
Every 2nd Wednesday and 2nd Thursday of the month, we help cook and serve dinner for homeless Senior Citizens.

In the Fall
 
In the Fall we unload and sell our PUMPKINS (our largest fundraiser) and then we collect food for DenUM's Food-For-All, and attend REJUVENATION, a bi-annual event sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Conference. In 2011 we are planning an event for our District Worship Group.
 
In the Winter and Spring
 
In the Winter and Spring we participate in the MLK Marade and put on a Talent/Variety Show and Luncheon. We also celebrate Diversity with our annual Diversity Luncheon, featuring food from around the world.
 
In the Summer
 
In the Summer our Mid-Highs take a Challenge Trip where we do Mission Work and challenge ourselves through whitewater rafting, rock climbing and rapelling. Our Senior Highs take an out-of-state Mission Trip.
 
Our Youth are very involved in the Rocky Mountain Conference - we have youth serving on the Conference Council of Youth Ministries (CCYM) from in our congregation and many other Conference leaders. We love our connectional system in the UMC!
