Summer Schedule:

Children:
Your children are welcome to worship with you!  We love the sound of little voices in worship. They are welcome to come forward for the Children's Message and then head upstairs to Sunday School.

Sunday School is during worship.  You may pick up your children upstairs in the Sunday School Room noted in the Bulletin.
Your children are welcome to remain in the service as well.

There is a changing/nursing room in the hallway just outside the Sanctuary.  It is next to the bathrooms.

Coffee Bar:
Coffee and donuts are available 30 minutes before and after the service. Come enjoy refreshments and fellowship.

Nursery:
We have a nursery in the Children's Center wing. The staff is licensed and certified. Please sign in and meet our nursery helper. There is also a changing table in the nursery for your use during worship services.

Entrances:
Our main entrance is in the back of the church. There is a parking lot off of Glencoe St, on the north side of the church.

This entrance also is our handicap entrance. There are double doors where one can be dropped off and picked up. There is handicapped parking close to these doors as well.

There are several other entrances into the church: the church office on Montview, Forest St through the Children's Center, the Chapel doors by the playground and the sanctuary doors on Glencoe St.

Holy Communion:
In the United Methodist Church, we have an open communion table. "Christ our Lord invited to his table all who love him, earnestly repent of their sin and seek to live with one another." You are welcome to our communion table whether you are a member of Park Hill United Methodist Church or not, whether you are a Methodist or not. You are welcome.

We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion on the First Sunday of each month in both of our Sunday Services.

Holy Baptism:
"Brothers and Sisters in Christ: Through the Sacrament of Baptism we are initiated into Christ's Holy Church. We are incorporated into God's mighty acts of salvation and given new birth through water and the Spirit. All this is God's gift, offered to us without price."

We baptize infants, children and adults. Scripture tells us in Acts 16:13-15 "On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there. One of those listening was a woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth from the City of Thyatira, who was a worshipper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul's message. When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. "If you consider me a believer in the Lord," she said, "come and stay at my house." And she pursuated us."

We prefer for you to be a member of Park Hill United Methodist Church so that we can help raise your children in the faith. You may call the church office for Baptism information whether you are a member or not. We look forward to having you here.
